Any opportunity to keep me pursuing my love for performance is a welcome one. Needless to say, this chance to study Performing Arts in IT Sligo has been one of the most exciting opportunities I’ve ever had. I was able to work collaboratively with new people and staff in a safe, creative way. The learning process in IT Sligo is inspiring and I’m lucky to have been a part of it!
I came to IT Sligo from St. Lawrence College in Canada for a oneyear study abroad programme, to complete a level 8 degree. I have a background in musical theatre in Canada. It was refreshing in Sligo to approach performance from an acting perspective. Being able to focus on that has helped me develop my performance skills and has also enabled me to grow in a range of ways – culturally, personally and professionally.
