Sligo Gaol is an imposing building with an impressive history. My Design celebrates and amplifies the grandeur and scale of the neoclassical geometries and structure of the Gaol building. Using features such as columns and distinct patterns, the overall feeling of scale and grandness overwhelms the user, whilst brightening the darkness and gloom of the existing structure. A luxurious palette of transparent and reflective materials reinforce the experience a new distillery (the “+” to my Boutique Hotel) which will distribute a number of different unique choices of drinks.
